Privacy Policy

Effective April 14, 2021. Last updated September 1, 2026.

Pioneer Research ("Pioneer," "we," "us") operates this website and conducts clinical research studies at our facility in Miami, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at info@pioneerresearch.com or (305) 420-5541.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you contact us, complete a form on this site, or express interest in a study, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, postal address, date of birth, and information about your health history.

Information collected automatically. When you visit this site, our servers record standard technical data — your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, the date and time of your visit, and how long you spend on each page.

Cookies. Cookies are small files stored on your device that help websites function and help us understand how our site is used. Most browsers let you refuse cookies or alert you when one is sent. If you refuse cookies, some parts of this site may not work properly.

Health Information

Pioneer Research is a clinical research site. Some of the information we collect is health information — including information you provide on our intake forms, information we obtain from your physicians with your written authorization, and information generated during a research study.

How we use it. We use health information to determine whether you may be eligible for a research study, to contact you about studies that may be a fit, and — if you enroll — to conduct the study according to the approved protocol and applicable regulations.

Who we share it with. If you enroll in a study, information about you is shared with the study sponsor, organizations working on the sponsor's behalf, the Institutional Review Board overseeing the study, and regulatory authorities including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Study sponsors receive your information identified by a study code rather than by your name. The specific sharing that applies to a given study is described in that study's informed consent document, which you review and sign before any study procedures begin.

Records we request from your physician. With your written authorization, we may request medical records from your healthcare providers. That authorization describes what we may request and how long it remains in effect, and you may revoke it at any time in writing.

If you don't enroll. If you contact us but do not join a study, we retain your information only as needed to document our screening process and, if you have agreed, to contact you about future studies. You may ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

How long we keep it. Research records are retained for periods set by federal regulation and by our agreements with study sponsors — often for many years after a study ends.
